Being Happy Myself

This life is incredible, and to my amazement it is just getting better and better. My life's goals have been evolving, probably because of the accelated rate they are being accomplished. It seems the more success I am having in this world, the more important it is becoming to "feel" the success that already exists within. Prem Rawat visited the Southeast United States recently, and I was able to attend both events. The first was in Asheville, North Carolina. The second was in Miami Beach, Florida. Never has my heart responded with such unabashed joy. You can listen to several of this year's programs at www.wopg.org. It is really good stuff. I have always said that inspiration is motivation from the inside. Well, Prem Rawat definitely massages your heart with his clarity. It is as if he opens a door to your inside, and then invites you in to live. So, now my number one goal is to spend as much time as possible getting to know my real self within. In attaining that goal my life outside is going through wonderful transformations, the likes of which I had not dreamed were possible. This is not reflecting so much in my acquisition of material things, as my feeling of need for less, accompanied by a feeling of contentment, fulfillment, and peace.

I have to chuckle when I see world leaders trying to solve what they call international problems, when really the solution is one of balance. When balance becomes the focus, every effort will produce positive results towards the goal of world peace. Barack Obama seems to be at least acknowledging the wisdom of embracing diversity as a conscious and positive step that all people and governments can make. Meanwhile I am doing my part in making the world a better place by being happy myself. Imagine if that was everybody's goal.
