The Promise

Today I listened to a statement that had an enormous impact on my life. "That for which you are looking may be found within you." The power of that simple statement brought me to a complete stop. Because it didn't qualify what it was for which I was looking, I could have been searching for anything. But, I felt the intent of the statement, and I knew that the satisfaction I expected by finding that for which I was searching would be found within me. That understanding in itself would be a goldmine for many people. However, just reading about it, or hearing about it is not actually knowing it for myself, and that is another lesson the statement is teaching. You must know for yourself. I must know for myself. Each of us must know for ourselves.

But, exactly how is it that one gains access to go within inside? Is it as simple as deciding to "go within"? Or is there a passage one must take? Fortunately the speaker, Prem Rawat, answered that question almost as immediately as I had it. He said that if I couldn't find the way, that he would be happy to help me.

I first heard Prem Rawat make both of those statements in February of 1974, and he made good on them on February 24, 1974, and he has been making good on the promise ever since.

Today I spent some time within inside of myself, and I appreciate what I found there, and I feel an overwhelming gratitude for all the gifts that are making it possible. Now I know for myself, and I know that I can be there again.

If you would like to know for yourself, go to www.wopg.org and listen. The directions are clear, and you get where you want to go, if you listen and follow the simple directions, because Being Happy Counts.
